This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled bookkeeper to join a professional financial services practice where you'll play a crucial role in streamlining international business operations. You'll work closely with fractional CFOs to manage critical bookkeeping functions for a US-based corporation with European vendor relationships, focusing on accounts payable optimization and financial record accuracy. This position offers the perfect blend of traditional bookkeeping expertise and international business exposure, allowing you to expand your skills while working with cutting-edge payment platforms and supporting high-level financial decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Organize and streamline accounts payable processes to enable efficient monthly payment cycles for international operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date QuickBooks records for a growing US-based corporation
- Process and manage international payments and transactions for European vendor relationships
- Collaborate directly with experienced fractional CFOs on various bookkeeping tasks and financial organization projects
- Provide administrative support to enhance overall business operations and client service delivery
- Support the financial team in maintaining organized, compliant, and efficient financial systems
- Proven experience with QuickBooks software and strong bookkeeping fundamentals
- Experience with international payment platforms (TransferWise or similar platforms strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Ability to work effectively with international vendors and cross-border transactions
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Basic administrative capabilities to support broader business needs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with financial professionals
