Job Description
We're seeking a skilled QuickBooks Expert and Bookkeeper to become an integral part of our financial operations team. In this remote position, you'll take ownership of maintaining our financial health through accurate bookkeeping, timely reconciliations, and comprehensive account management. This role offers the perfect blend of independence and collaboration, allowing you to work flexibly while making a direct impact on our business success. You'll have access to all necessary tools and platforms, with the opportunity to showcase your expertise in QuickBooks Online while supporting various aspects of our financial processes.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records using QuickBooks Online
  • Perform thorough account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
  • Manage accounts payable processes, including vendor payments and invoice processing
  • Handle accounts receivable functions and customer payment tracking
  • Provide assistance with basic tax preparation tasks and documentation
  • Execute timely bill payments and maintain organized payment schedules
  • Keep financial books clean, reconciled, and audit-ready
  • Access and organize financial documents through secure shared digital platforms
  • Collaborate directly with management on financial reporting and insights
Requirements
  • Extensive hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online platform
  • Strong background in bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Experience working with California corporations strongly preferred
  • CPA experience or background working with CPA services is a valuable plus
  • Proven ability to work independently while maintaining high accuracy standards
  • Comfortable navigating shared digital platforms and cloud-based document systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
