
Business Development Manager

- Achieve business growth and consistently meet or exceed sales targets by effectively managing and leading the sales team.
- Develop and implement a strategic sales and business development plan to expand the company's customer base and strengthen market presence.
- Lead end-to-end sales operations including talent acquisition, goal-setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of the sales force.
- Foster and maintain long-term client relationships by building trust, understanding business needs, and providing value-driven solutions.
- Prepare and present sales performance reports, revenue forecasts, and expense analysis to the management team for decision-making.
- Continuously identify new market opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities to maintain competitive advantage.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or any related field.
- 8–10 years of solid sales experience in the NVOCC, Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Freight Forwarding industry (industry experience is a must).
- Proven expertise in sales strategy, customer acquisition, and client relationship management.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated capability to drive the sales process from planning to successful closure.
- Strong business acumen and market knowledge in logistics, freight, and shipping.
- Effective leadership skills with experience in mentoring, coaching, and managing sales teams.
