Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Leadership:

○ Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that projects are

delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

○ Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that improve

efficiency, productivity, and safety.

○ Monitor performance metrics and analyze data to inform decision-making and

drive continuous improvement.

○ Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company

policies.

  1. Strategic Planning:

○ Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the

company's strategic plan.

○ Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth, including new markets,

services, and partnerships.

○ Lead the implementation of new initiatives, ensuring alignment with the

company's long-term goals.

  1. Team Management:

○ Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a

culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

○ Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management processes to

ensure the team has the skills and resources needed to succeed.

○ Ensure effective communication and coordination between departments to

achieve company objectives.

  1. Financial Oversight:

○ Work with the CFO to develop and manage the company's budget, ensuring

operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

○ Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability, and

take corrective actions as needed.

○ Oversee the procurement and management of resources, including equipment,

materials, and third-party services.

  1. Client and Vendor Relationships:

○ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of

customer satisfaction and retention.

○ Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors,

ensuring favorable terms and quality service delivery.

○ Address and resolve any operational issues that may impact client satisfaction or

project success.

  1. Health, Safety, and Environmental Management:

○ Ensure that all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental

regulations.

○ Promote a strong safety culture across the organization, leading by example and

implementing best practices.

○ Investigate and address any incidents or accidents, implementing corrective

actions to prevent future occurrences.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or

a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

● 20 years of overall experience in operations and maintenance, with at least 10 of them

in a senior operational role within the power industry preferably in coal power plants.

● Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of building and leading

high-performing teams.

● Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on operational

efficiency and continuous improvement.

● In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices in

industrial maintenance.

● Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

● Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and optimizing operational costs.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business

needs.

Working Conditions:

● The role requires occasional travel to client sites, vendor locations, and industry events.

● Must be able to work in industrial environments, including exposure to noise, heat, and

other conditions typical of industrial maintenance sites.
