JOB SUMMARY:

The RAC/HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating systems in commercial, residential, or industrial facilities. The technician ensures that HVAC equipment runs efficiently and complies with safety and environmental regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems (split type, window type, centralized AC units, chillers, etc.).
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspection on systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults for HVAC systems.
  • Replace or repair defective components and parts such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and fans.
  • Monitor and adjust controls to maintain system performance and efficiency.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
  • Record and report maintenance and repair logs accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor refrigerant levels and ensure leak-free systems.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance or engineering staff when needed.
  • Respond to emergency service calls as required.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe and proper working condition.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Vocational or Technical Course in RAC / HVAC or equivalent.
  • At least 1–3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC/R installation, repair, and maintenance.
  • TESDA NC II or equivalent certification is an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in electrical systems related to HVAC.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
  • Physically fit and able to work in various environments (indoors/outdoors, high places).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

WORK CONDITIONS:

  • May be required to work overtime or on-call shifts.
  • Work involves lifting, climbing, and exposure to varying temperatures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php19, Php22,000.00 per month
