Job description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Technical Sales Engineer with expertise in CCTV systems, networking solutions, and cybersecurity. The role combines technical knowledge with strong communication and sales abilities, responsible for providing pre-sales and post-sales support, designing solutions, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Technical Expertise:

  • Design, configure, and recommend CCTV surveillance systems, access control, networking infrastructure, and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Conduct site surveys, network assessments, and security risk evaluations.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and industry standards in security and IT networks.

Pre-Sales Support:

  • Provide technical guidance during client meetings, tenders, and project discussions.
  • Create system architecture diagrams, BOM (Bill of Materials), and solution designs.
  • Assist the sales team with technical clarifications during bidding processes.

Post-Sales Support:

  • Support project implementation teams with technical documentation and solution handovers.
  • Provide training and product knowledge sessions to customers and partners.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues escalated by clients.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in CCTV, networking (LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls), and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of IP cameras, NVRs/DVRs, video management systems (VMS), and access control systems.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, firewalls, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical details and customer requirements.
  • Certifications (advantageous but not required): CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CEH, Hikvision/Dahua certifications, or similar.
