Job Overview:
SharePro Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Vendor Manager with a strong background in vendor management and shared services to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full vendor lifecycle, driving vendor performance, and ensuring optimal delivery of services aligned with the company's objectives. The role will involve strategic oversight of vendor relationships, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and service excellence across all vendor engagements in the engineering, design, and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including sourcing, selection, negotiations, contracting, performance management, and vendor audits.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive vendor management strategy that supports SharePro Inc.'s shared services needs in engineering, design, and construction.
  • Establish clear service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure vendor performance and service quality.
  • Cultivate strong, productive relationships with key vendors, ensuring long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, design, and construction teams) to identify service requirements and align vendor offerings with operational needs.
  • Manage vendor risk, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and audits, providing actionable insights for improvements.
  • Oversee vendor cost management and identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, bringing innovation to vendor management processes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of vendor managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or related roles, with a focus on shared services in engineering, design, or construction environments.
  • Proven track record of managing complex vendor relationships and driving results.
  • Strong knowledge of vendor management best practices, contracts, and legal compliance in the shared services space.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with procurement tools and vendor management software.
