The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall accounting and tax functions within the Shared Services – Finance unit. This role requires strong technical expertise in financial reporting, tax management, and compliance, with proven leadership in handling a team. The Accounting Manager will ensure that all financial and regulatory requirements are met, while driving continuous improvements in accounting processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Manage the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including planning, reporting, filing, and remittance requirements.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies that align with the company's financial goals while ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws.
  • Monitor changes in taxation and government regulations affecting the company and advise management accordingly.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all accounting activities.
  • Coordinate with auditors (internal and external) and regulatory bodies to ensure timely completion of audits and filings.
  • Manage SAP-related accounting transactions and reporting requirements.
  • Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting and taxation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent.
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • At least 5 years of supervisory-level experience in accounting and taxation, preferably in a multinational or shared services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis, accounting standards, and tax compliance.
  • Solid background in tax planning, management, and compliance for multinational companies.
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Can work flexible hours as needed.
  • Willing to work onsite in Tondo Office, Monday–Friday.
