MARKETING ASSISTANT

A Marketing Assistant supports marketing officer by performing administrative tasks, assisting with the creation and execution of campaigns, and conducting market research to gather data and insights. Key responsibilities include managing social media accounts, creating marketing content, monitoring campaign performance, coordinating promotional events, and maintaining marketing databases and spreadsheets. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills, as well as creativity and proficiency with various marketing software and digital platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Support:

Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across various digital, social media, and content channels.

Content Creation:

Develop and publish online content, including social media posts, blog entries, and promotional materials. Collaborate with graphic designers to produce compelling visuals that enhance engagement.

Market Research:

Contribute to the conduct of market research to identify customer trends, analyze competitor activities, and gather relevant data to support the development of effective marketing strategies.

Social Media Management:

Oversee social media platforms by curating content, engaging with the audience, and analyzing social media interactions to foster brand awareness.

Administrative Tasks:

Execute daily administrative responsibilities, which include scheduling meetings, responding to emails, managing calls and messages, maintaining databases and spreadsheets, and overseeing inventory of marketing materials.

Event Coordination:

Provide assistance in the organization and execution of promotional events and digital campaigns, ensuring a seamless and effective experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Administrative Skills:

Strong organizational, scheduling, and data entry capabilities are essential for effectively managing tasks and maintaining precise records. Knowledge in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.

Communication Skills:

Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities are necessary for creating high-quality marketing content, engaging with clients, and delivering presentations with clarity.

Analytical Skills:

The capacity to gather data, analyze marketing information, and provide insightful recommendations is imperative for enhancing campaign performance. Knowledge in Meta Analytics and Google Analytics is a plus.

Creativity:

Innovative thinking is crucial for developing compelling content, generating unique campaign ideas, and addressing marketing challenges effectively.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in various marketing software, digital platforms, social media management tools, and spreadsheet applications is often required.

Collaboration:

The ability to work collaboratively with the marketing team, different departments, and external partners is vital for cultivating a productive team environment.
