Job Title: Associate/Senior Bookkeeper (AU)

Work Setup & Schedule:

  • Hybrid (7AM to 4PM)

What you'll be doing:

  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
  • Payroll Processing
  • Business Activity Statement Preparation
  • Financial Statements & Tax Returns Preparation for sole traders, companies, and family trusts.
  • Individual Tax Return Preparation: Handle income, expenses, potential deductions, prepare queries list, capital gains calculations, rental schedule, sole trading schedule, etc.
  • ASIC Annual Review Work
  • Structure Establishment Initial Paperwork: Assist with initial structure establishment paperwork by completing forms based on provided information.
  • Document Procedures: Ensure proper documentation of all procedures, including video recording.
  • Other Miscellaneous Task

What will make you a great fit:

  • BS Accountancy Graduate
  • At least 2 years of Australian accounting experience with a solid understanding of tax principles
  • Experience in preparing Australian individual tax returns
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Hubdoc, Xero Tax, QuickBooks, MYOB).
  • Experience with Practice Management Software (Xero Practice Manager + SuiteFiles).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
