Job Description

Be part of our client's team as an AU Bookkeeper, handling day-to-day financial recordkeeping while ensuring accurate and timely updates across accounts. In this role, you'll also step in to support administrative functions when needed, keeping both the books and the back office running smoothly with precision, consistency, and reliability.

Job Overview

Employment type: Full-Time

Shift: Day Shift, Weekends Off

Work setup: 1 month onsite at SM Mega Tower, then Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

The Qualifications We Seek

Education Requirements (Essential):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Commerce with a major in Accounting

Demonstrated Experience & Attributes (Essential):

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, specifically supporting Australian clients or within the Australian accounting environment
  • Proven proficiency in using Xero accounting software
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting tools such as Dext (formerly ReceiptBank), Hubdoc, or KeyPay is an advantage
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Your Daily Tasks

  • Processing daily transactions across a variety of industries
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Managing accounts payable
  • Managing accounts receivable
  • Processing payroll
  • Preparing Activity Statements, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation
  • Setting up and maintaining client accounting files
  • Assisting in the preparation of month-end management accounts
  • Drafting and managing day-to-day email communications with clients
