The Position

Join our team as a Specialist in Cost and Profitability Accounting, where your expertise will shape the financial insights that drive our business forward. In this role, you will manage cost and profitability activities, handle month-end closing tasks, and prepare income statement for management. Reporting directly to the Head of Cost and Profitability Accounting and Reporting, you will be an essential part of the Accounting to Reporting Services team. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Handle Cost Accounting and Income Statement reporting inquiries and processing of requests from local counterparts, mainly controllers, within the defined SLAs.
  • Execute period end closing: Month-end and Year-end via the Runbook/Blackline tool to fulfill the established KPIs.
  • Support the Long-Term Forecast Planning/Budgeting process.
  • Liaise and collaborate with other finance teams to resolve issues.
  • Responsible for transitions or implementations of management accounting processes in the areas of CPA including enhancements due to legal and functional or business requests.
  • Ensures compliance of all management accounting processes
About our Future Employee
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • With a minimum of one year experience in Management Accounting
  • Proficient in SAP preferably FI and CO modules
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking)
  • Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work on shifting schedule including night shifts
  • Amenable to a hybrid working environment
