Cost Specialist

Overall Objective:

To manage and control all cost-related activities within supply chain operations, ensuring accurate cost allocation, analysis, and reporting that supports strategic decision-making and operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and monitor supply chain costs, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution
  • Prepare cost reports and variance analyses to identify trends and opportunities for cost optimization
  • Develop and maintain cost allocation models aligned with business objectives
  • Collaborate with supply chain and finance teams to ensure accurate costing in ERP systems
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing cost-related insights
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
  • Recommend cost-saving initiatives and process improvements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Industrial Engineering
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in cost analysis or cost accounting, preferably in supply chain or logistics operations
  • Experience in sales and distribution industry is highly preferred
