Job Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the company's logistics services. This role involves identifying potential clients, presenting tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service and effective account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities in the logistics and transportation sector.
- Conduct sales presentations and negotiate contracts to close deals.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts to maximize revenue potential.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery of logistics services.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and account plans.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
- Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's services, pricing structures, and operational capabilities.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 2–3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, trucking or supply chain services.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Knowledge
- Understanding of freight rates, customs processes, and logistics solutions.
- Familiarity with market trends and competitive landscape in the logistics industry.

- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
