Role and Responsibilities
The overall goal of the operations team is to offer the best customer service experience for our customers, to continually earn our client's business and strive for continuous improvement.
Operational Contributor (OC): This level is ideal for individuals seeking entry-level to intermediate responsibilities such as submittals, price updates, customer service, order follow-up, and project management.
- General clerical duties: order entry, email correspondence, providing tracking information from manufacturers, quick quotes, and broken/lost/damage (BLD) replacement service.
- 100% accurate order placement: verifying pricing and part numbers, customer information, ensuring all is correct before being submitted.
- Create submittals and document shop drawings. Forward to appropriate client/manufacturer for approval and documentation.
- Will be required to complete miscellaneous duties, ability to follow directions and take initiative when required.
- Daily communication and collaboration with operations and sales team.

- Zero order entry errors
- Respond to purchase orders within 12 hours – acknowledgement of receipt
- Adherence to the workplace schedule
- Asana report out
Qualifications and Education Requirements
No formal training required, lighting and electrical industry experience is a plus.
Basic knowledge of computer systems and software.
Preferred Skills
Must be organized to track activities and milestones – will be multi-tasking often
Excellent computer literacy
Clear phone communication skills
Must have experience working the graveyard shift
