QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role preferred
  • Professional certifications, including CompTIA A+, Network+, and Microsoft Certified IT Professional, etc. are considered a plus
  • Willing to work on shifting schedule
  • Must be self-driven and highly responsive to time-sensitive task
  • Team-oriented, highly organized and well-motivated
  • Flexible and can withstand pressure

SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of computer hardware components and the ability to assemble and troubleshoot computer or laptop issues
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Knowledgeable in Information Security Concepts and Governance
  • Knowledgeable in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Knowledgeable in system development or analysis concepts

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that all mission critical IT hardware/systems are 99% functional and running
  • Troubleshoots technical, operational, or customer service problems and takes corrective action to resolve conflicts
  • Installs, configures and upgrades Operation systems and security, anti-virus software, using standard business and administrative packages like ERP, HRIS, other in-house applications; may modify specific applications for use in operational departments
  • Oversee the daily performance of all computer systems and conduct monthly and annual preventive maintenance
  • Monitors system processing activities by observing peripherals, input and output, to ensure throughput/delivery of data
  • Monitoring the company's email system, ensuring that no unwanted emails, confidential information among others are going in and out of the company in accordance with the company's approved Email Policy
  • Determines appropriate reload and backup procedures for database, and monitors and records impact of aborted jobs on data base and data communication files
  • Provides software support to internal users/clients
