About the role

LEC STEEL MANUFACTURING CORP.' is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Procurement Staff to join our team in Quezon City Metro Manila. As part of our growing company, this full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and inventory management processes to support our steel manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Sourcing and procuring raw materials, components, and supplies required for production in a timely and cost-effective manner (both local and importation)
  • Negotiating with suppliers to secure favourable pricing and terms
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and ensuring stock is replenished as needed
  • Preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving any supply chain issues
  • Collaborating with production and operations teams to understand and meet their material requirements
  • Analysing procurement data and identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

What we're looking for

  • 1-3 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or inventory management role, ideally within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in using procurement software and inventory management systems
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Familiarity with purchasing regulations and compliance requirements
