Job Summary and Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team at iHudyat Inc. The Procurement Officer will play a critical role in managing and overseeing purchasing activities to ensure the timely and cost-efficient acquisition of goods and services necessary for our operations.

Your role will be essential in ensuring compliance with company policies, maintaining supplier relationships, and contributing to the success of iHudyat's mission to provide quality fire safety products across the Philippines.

  • Graduate of any Business Administration or relevant degree.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Proven experience in a procurement role, ideally in the fire safety or construction industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and implement strategies to optimize sourcing and supplier selection processes
  • Identify potential suppliers, conduct evaluations, and negotiate contracts and pricing terms
  • Maintain and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards
  • Work with management, sales, finance, and operations teams to align procurement activities with business needs
  • Keep detailed records of procurement transactions, contracts, and vendor information
  • Forecast demand and manage inventory to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing carrying costs
  • Look for ways to reduce costs and improve processes within the procurement function
