Senior Freight Forwarding

We are looking for an experienced Import & Export Sea Freight Operations Officer to join our team in Binondo.

This role requires strong operational expertise in sea freight and compliance with industry training and certification standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily import and export sea freight operations.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, and local stakeholders to ensure smooth cargo movement.
• Prepare, review, and process shipping documents including invoices, bills of lading, and packing lists.
• Monitor cargo status and provide timely updates to clients.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and accreditation requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for operations and audits.
• Communicate effectively with clients and overseas partners to resolve issues.
• Provide leadership and support to the operations team, ensuring efficient workflow and service delivery.
• Report operational performance and improvements to management.

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years of proven experience in sea freight operations, including consolidation of export cargoes for NVOCCs.
• Completion of at least 60 hours of training for NVOCC and IFF, or a minimum of 40 hours for DFF. Training must have been completed within the last 3 years and conducted by the national association of freight forwarders or by TESDA-accredited or government-recognized training entities.
• At least one Key Operating Officer (KO) must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant freight forwarding experience, supported by a Certificate of Employment (COE) from a previous employer. The COE will be subject to verification by the issuing company.
• Strong command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively with overseas contacts via email.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PDF, and other standard document formats.
• High level of responsibility, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to think quickly, manage emergencies, and resolve operational issues effectively.
• Positive, approachable, emotionally stable, proactive, and committed to long-term job stability.

Weekends off and rest on national public holidays.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php70,000.00 per month
