JOB SUMMARY
- Conduct organizational studies and evaluates, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplifications and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively,
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather and organize information on problems or procedures.
- Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
- Confer with associate concerned to ensure the successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures.
- Interview associate and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, methods, equipment, and manpower used.
- Review forms, reports, confer with management, users about format, distribution, purpose, to identify problems and improvements.
- Document findings of the study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
- Prepare manuals and train (when applicable) workers in use of new forms, reports, procedures or equipment, according to organizational policy.
- Design, evaluate, recommend, and approve changes in forms and reports.
- Plan study of work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis.
- Develop ad recommend methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization.
- Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
JOB SPECIFICATION
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Industrial), Mathematics or equivalent.
- With or without experience in process documentation and re-engineering.
- Organizational skills
- Detail Oriented
- Proficient in Excel application, MS Visio (preferable)
- With good interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to relate across members of departments within the working environment
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
