Job Description

The Operations Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of Rubiken Company. This role involves supervising staff, managing administrative functions, and overseeing activities across different areas of the business, including farm operations. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating office and fieldwork, monitoring resources, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

He/She will act as the bridge between management and staff, ensuring operational efficiency, staff accountability, and effective workflow. The role requires hands-on involvement, problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive to different sites as needed.


Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a team of direct reports, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.

Oversee and coordinate daily office operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.

Monitor and manage farm operations, including scheduling, logistics, resource allocation, and reporting.

Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety guidelines, and operational standards.

Prepare and maintain reports, records, and administrative documents for management review.

Coordinate with suppliers, service providers, and external partners as needed.

Monitor equipment, tools, and vehicles used for operations; ensure proper utilization and maintenance.

Assist in planning, organizing, and executing company projects and initiatives.

Handle timekeeping, attendance monitoring, and other HR-related admin tasks.

Drive to and from different work sites, farms, and offices to supervise operations and deliver requirements.

Support management in implementing cost-efficient measures and operational improvements.


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Agriculture, or any related field.

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in operations management, supervisory, or related roles.

Proven experience in handling direct reports and managing teams.

Strong background in office administration and daily operational supervision.

Familiarity with farm operations or agricultural processes is a strong advantage.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with report preparation.

Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive for work purposes.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to deal with staff, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Highly responsible, trustworthy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferably a local resident of Davao or nearby areas.
