Our client is a Queensland-based mortgage brokerage dedicated to simplifying the home loan process for clients.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Loan Processor to support the end-to-end processing of loan applications. You'll work closely with the broker, lenders, and clients to ensure files are complete, compliant, and move seamlessly from submission to settlement.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, is comfortable working independently, and takes initiative to spot and resolve issues before they become roadblocks.

Part-Time: ~20 hours/week (potential to grow into full-time)

Schedule: Mon–Thu, 10 AM–3 PM AEST/AEDT

Location: Fully Remote

Engagement: Independent Contractor

Start Date: ASAP

Monthly Starting Rate: US$400-800/month (depending on level of experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and process loan applications from submission through to settlement.
  • Liaise with brokers, lenders, and clients to gather and verify required documentation.
  • Input and maintain accurate client records in Infynity CRM and other tools (Trello, Teams, WhatsApp).
  • Monitor application progress, follow up on outstanding requirements, and ensure compliance with lender guidelines.
  • Coordinate with aggregator platforms such as Finsure.
  • Provide administrative support to the mortgage broker, including compliance documentation.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and take initiative to resolve them.
  • Track critical dates and deadlines to ensure smooth settlements.
  • (Optional) Support in credit analysis, valuation, and credit inputting.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of loan processing experience (mortgage industry preferred).
  • Proactive mindset — works independently, takes initiative, and anticipates needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Comfortable with cloud-based tools and CRMs.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to Australian mortgage processes if not already familiar.
  • High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience with the Australian mortgage industry and lender requirements.
  • Familiarity with Infynity CRM and Finsure aggregator.
  • Knowledge of compliance and documentation standards in mortgage lending.
  • Interest in learning and supporting with credit analysis.
