I. JOB SUMMARY:

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects, from initial estimates to final account settlement. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, developing budgets, negotiating contracts, and monitoring project changes to ensure cost efficiency. The Quantity Surveyor serves as a key liaison between clients, architects, and contractors, ensuring the project remains within budget while meeting quality, contractual, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Estimate material, labor, and time costs and prepare detailed project budgets.

· Contract Management: Prepare tender and contract documents, manage procurement processes, negotiate contract terms, and oversee contractor payments.

· Financial Monitoring: Track project expenditures, prepare cost reports, and manage budget adjustments due to design or scope changes.

· Risk Assessment: Identify potential financial risks and recommend risk mitigation strategies.

· Liaison & Coordination: Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and site managers to ensure project objectives, timeline, and budget are met.

· Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, health, safety, and industry standards.

III. EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in any of the following:
  • Civil Engineering
  • Architecture
  • Quantity Surveying / Cost Engineering
  • Construction Management (optional but advantageous)

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 1-12 months

Pay: Php19, Php30,000.00 per month
