About the role

Join the talented team at Net Pacific, Inc. as a full-time Safety Officer 2. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our construction projects in the Manila City Metro Manila area. With a focus on strategic and proactive safety management, you will play a key part in protecting our workers, assets and the local community.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop, implement and monitor comprehensive safety policies and procedures
  2. Conduct regular on-site safety inspections and risk assessments
  3. Provide safety training and education to construction workers
  4. Investigate and document all incidents and near-misses
  5. Liaise with local authorities to ensure regulatory compliance
  6. Analyze safety data and recommend process improvements
  7. Promote a strong safety culture across the organization

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 year experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry
  2. Demonstrated expertise in health, safety and environmental management
  3. Strong working knowledge of relevant local safety regulations and standards
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Proven ability to lead safety training and drive behavioral change
  6. Proficient in data analysis and report writing
  7. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
