BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies to drive brand visibility, product awareness, and sales through retail and distribution channels. This role requires close collaboration with sales teams, product managers, and external partners to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with business objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies and plans in line with overall brand objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, trade shows, and events to drive product awareness and sales.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of trade marketing activities across different channels.
  • Provide the sales team with tools, presentations, and training to effectively promote products.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement trade promotions and incentive programs.
  • Develop and manage the trade marketing budget, ensuring all activities are within budget and deliver ROI.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze sales data and market feedback to measure the success of trade marketing activities.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on trade marketing performance and insights.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade marketing, sales, or related roles within the consumer goods industry.
  • Strong understanding of retail and distribution channels.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
