About the role

This role is responsible for the tactical execution of trade marketing initiatives across offline and online retail channels. This includes ensuring timely and high-quality implementation of trade activations, maintaining planogram compliance, supporting sales and inventory tracking, and coordinating key account documentation. The role works cross-functionally with Sales, Brand, Operations, Space Planning, and Marketing to ensure successful campaign rollout and retail excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures that trade activations are implemented on time, in full, and in line with brand standards.
  • Monitors retail compliance with merchandising standards and ensures planograms are executed consistently across key accounts.
  • Measures the effectiveness of trade promotions and captures key learnings for continuous improvement.
  • Supports campaign planning and execution by aligning deliverables and timelines across departments and partners
  • Tracks product movement to support stock health, optimize sell-out, and identify risks in the retail and distribution pipeline.
  • Ensures that all trade forms, listings, and partner requirements are submitted accurately and on time to support seamless operations.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a trade marketing or retail marketing role, ideally within the consumer goods or retail industries
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into effective trade marketing strategies
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Creative flair and a keen eye for design, with the ability to develop impactful trade marketing materials
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with trade partners
