Job Title: Project Manager, Talent Suite Implementation
About the Role:
We are embarking on an exciting journey to revolutionize our talent acquisition process with the recent approval of our new talent suite, Application Tracking System and a Conversational AI. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to lead the successful implementation, adoption, and ongoing optimization of this critical new technology.
The Project Manager will be the central figure in this initiative, responsible for ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires a blend of technical aptitude, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of project management principles, all applied to the unique context of a talent acquisition and HR technology project.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Management:
- Serve as the primary project leader for the entire talent suite implementation lifecycle, from initial planning and configuration through to launch and post-implementation support.
- Develop and manage a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.
- Track and report on project progress to key stakeholders and the executive leadership team, providing regular updates on status, risks, and resource utilization.
- Manage project budget and resources effectively.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
- Act as the liaison between our talent acquisition team, IT department, vendor, and other internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, ensuring clear agendas, actionable outcomes, and documented decisions.
- Communicate project updates, changes, and key information clearly and concisely to all relevant parties.
- Gather and document business requirements from the talent acquisition team to ensure the new system meets their needs.
Implementation & Configuration:
- Oversee the configuration and customization of the talent suite to align with our company's specific recruitment workflows and processes.
- Coordinate data migration from existing systems to the new platform, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and ensure it meets business requirements.
Training & Change Management:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive change management and communication plan to ensure a smooth transition for all users.
- Coordinate with the talent acquisition leadership to develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot initial user issues.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a strong track record of successfully managing and delivering technology implementation projects.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Highly Desired:
- Experience with implementing a Talent Acquisition Suite, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), or other HR technology is a significant plus.
- Familiarity with the ATS platform or similar talent acquisition software is a strong advantage.
- Experience working in or with a Talent Acquisition or Human Resources function.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
