JOB OVERVIEW

The Accounting Systems Implementation Specialist is responsible to lead the successful implementation of an accounting software system. In this role, you will bridge the gap between accounting operations and technology by overseeing software configuration, data migration, process alignment, training and post-launch support.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Accounting System Implementation (Primary):

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of new accounting software.

  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to gather requirements and define workflows.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders during setup, configuration, and testing.

  • Coordinate data migration to ensure data accuracy, integrity and completeness.

  • Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshoot issues.

  • Develop and document accounting processes that align with the new system, training materials, and user manuals.

  • Provide training and ongoing support to end-users and stakeholders.

  • Serve as point of contact for vendor communication and issue resolution.

Project Management:

  • Create and manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.

  • Identify risks and proactively address implementation roadblocks.

  • Monitor performance metrics post-launch to ensure system effectiveness.

System Support and Optimization:

  • Support the accounting team with post-implementation adjustments and optimizations.

  • Assist in developing automated workflows, integrations, and custom reports.

  • Continuously evaluate system performance and recommend improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 2-3 years of accounting experience.

  • Hands-on experience with accounting or ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc).

  • Strong understanding in accounting workflows and principles

  • Experience with accounting system implementation, data migration is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
