Job Title: Business Analyst, Talent Suite Implementation

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to play a key role in the successful implementation of our new talent suite, Applicant Tracking System and a Conversational AI. This is a pivotal role that will bridge the gap between our business needs and the technical capabilities of the new platform.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for deeply understanding our current talent acquisition processes, identifying areas for improvement, and translating the needs of our recruiters and hiring managers into clear, actionable requirements for the project team. This role is essential for ensuring that the new system is not only configured correctly but also optimized to drive efficiency and a better user experience for our talent acquisition function.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering & Documentation:

• Serve as the primary liaison between the talent acquisition team and the project team to elicit, analyze, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements for the new talent suite.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys with key stakeholders (recruiters, hiring managers, etc.) to capture their needs and feedback.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, and use cases.

Process Analysis & Design:

• Map and analyze our current "as-is" talent acquisition processes to identify inefficiencies and pain points.
• Work with stakeholders to design and document the new "to-be" processes that will leverage the capabilities of the new talent suite.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within the new system.

System Configuration & Testing Support:

• Translate business requirements into system configurations and customizations, working closely with the Project Manager and vendor.
• Develop test plans and test cases to validate that the new system meets the documented business requirements.
• Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT), guiding users through testing scenarios and documenting feedback and defects.

Data & Integration:

• Assist in defining data migration strategies, ensuring data integrity and accuracy during the transition from existing systems.
• Work with IT to define requirements for system integrations, if applicable.

Stakeholder Communication & Management:

• Communicate changes and requirements clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout the project.
• Provide support to the Change Manager in developing training materials and user guides based on the documented processes and system functionalities.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong track record of success in technology implementation projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and build rapport with stakeholders.
• Experience with process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
• Proficiency in creating business requirements documents, user stories, and test plans.

Highly Desired:

• Experience with implementing a Talent Acquisition Suite, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), or other HR technology is a significant plus.
• Strong understanding of the talent acquisition lifecycle, including sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring.
• Familiarity with the ATS platforms or similar talent acquisition software is a strong advantage.
• Relevant certifications, such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis).
