Job Title: Contract Manager – Facility Management (Engineering Licensed)
Job Summary:
The Contract Manager will oversee the administration and management of facility management contracts, ensuring compliance, performance, and quality standards are met. The role requires a strong engineering background, licensing, and expertise in facility operations, with responsibility for contract negotiation, execution, and ongoing management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Administration & Oversight:
- Manage and administer facility management contracts including service level agreements (SLAs), scope of work, and performance benchmarks.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met by vendors and service providers.
- Monitor contract performance and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct regular meetings and reviews to evaluate service quality and contract compliance.
- Negotiate contract terms, renewals, amendments, and dispute resolutions.
- Engineering & Technical Oversight:
- Apply engineering expertise to evaluate technical proposals, troubleshoot issues, and optimize facility operations.
- Ensure facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, safety systems) comply with engineering standards and regulations.
- Compliance & Regulatory Standards:
- Ensure all facility management activities comply with local, national, and industry regulations.
- Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and certifications.
- Budget & Cost Control:
- Develop and manage budgets related to facility management contracts.
- Monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Risk Management & Safety:
- Identify potential risks in facility operations and contracts.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on contract performance, issues, and resolutions for senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, performance metrics, and correspondence.
- Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Collaborate with engineering teams, maintenance staff, and other departments.
- Provide guidance and leadership in contract-related activities and technical assessments.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements.
- Recommend improvements to contract management processes and facility operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
- Valid engineering license/certification.
- Proven experience in contract management within facility or building management.
- Strong knowledge of facility systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze technical and contractual documents.
- Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month
