Job Purpose:
- The Project/Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies, managing a high-performing sales team, and building strong customer relationships. Their primary goal is to achieve sales targets, expand market presence, and contribute to the overall business success by identifying opportunities, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals.
Set sales targets, monitor performance, and adjust plans as needed.
Identify new market opportunities and potential customer segments.
Drive revenue growth through new and existing customers.
2. Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives.
Provide coaching, guidance, and motivation to the team.
Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans.
Foster a competitive and goal-driven sales culture.
3. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Develop and ensure strategies for customer satisfaction, retention and long-term loyalty.
4. Sales Operations & Performance Tracking
Monitor sales metrics and analyze data for decision-making.
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management.
Analyze sales trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Ensure the use of sales tools and tracking system.
5. Coordination/collaborations with Other Departments
Work closely with sales team to align sales campaigns with promotional efforts.
Collaborate with product development to understand and improve offerings.
Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth product/service delivery.
Coordinate with finance and operations for pricing, budgeting, and logistics.
6. Market Research & Competitive Analysis
Stay updated or conduct market research on industry trends and competitor activities.
Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis).
Recommend or develop adjustments to sales strategies based on market insights.
7. Compliance & Policy Adherence
Ensure sales activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
Implement ethical sales practices and maintain brand reputation.
8. Management and Supervision
Manages and oversees the daily operations
Reviews the work outputs and reports of subordinates
Ensures the timely submission of reports by staff
Instills discipline as regards to compliance with company rules & regulations
Checks the accuracy of reports prepared by the staff
Conducts performance evaluation, mentoring and counselling of staff
9. Housekeeping, Safety and Cost-Cutting
Keeping working areas in a tidy and workmanlike manner
Caring and safe-keeping of company facilities and equipment
Observance of safety measures and protocol
Monitoring of lights and aircon usage
10. Task
Identify potential government tenders and bids through research, PhilGeps and government websites.
Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, officials, and procurement personnel.
Create and implement sales strategies for government accounts.
Manage and oversee sales execution for government projects.
Prepare and submit proposals, tenders, and quotes to government agencies.
Negotiate and finalize contracts with government agencies.
Manage the sales pipeline for government accounts.
Analyze sales trends, forecasts, and performance metrics for government accounts.
Provide sales coaching and guidance to the sales team.
Develop and maintain accurate customer relationship management (CRM) data for government accounts.
Checking on internal documents (SO, Petty, AR, DR, Sales Invoice etc…)
Monitor Sales Project Progress
Monitor Project Collection
Negotiate and finalize contracts with government agencies.
Conduct research on government procurement processes and bid requirements.
Stay up-to-date on industry news, trends, and changes in government procurement policies.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions that meet government agency requirements.
Participate in sales meetings and provide input on sales strategies and tactics.
Establish and maintain a government account management database.
Develop and implement a sales process for government accounts.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely submission of proposals and tenders.
Create and maintain sales templates and proposals for government accounts.
Manage and maintain accurate data for government accounts.
Develop and maintain a pipeline reporting system for government accounts.
Provide regular sales updates and progress reports to management.
Conduct research on government procurement processes and bid requirements.
Stay up-to-date on industry news, trends, and changes in government procurement policies.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new government business opportunities.
Track deadlines for proposal submissions and ensure timely delivery.
Identify potential opportunities for government contracts and grants.
Attend project meetings and take notes to ensure action items are recorded.
Attend Management Meeting and Project Updates
Prepare agendas and materials for client meetings and presentations.
Engage with government officials to introduce the company and its solutions.
Assist in the development of proposals and presentations tailored to government needs.
Provide product demonstrations and presentations tailored to government agencies' needs.
Gather feedback from clients on product requirements and usability.
Report monthly sales activities and progress towards goals.
Weekly project report and Collection Update
Do site Ocular with Technical team
Attend Final inspection of project
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales and purchasing.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Ability to build productive business professional relationships.
Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills.
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
With valid driving license, is an advantage.
Location of Work:
- The location of work includes both the main office and the project site, requiring regular coordination between the two.
