Job Purpose

To manage all aspects of the cost and financial management of construction projects — from initial estimates and tendering through to final account — ensuring projects are completed within budget, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Pre-Contract Stage

  • Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies, and budget forecasts.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), Schedules of Rates, and Tender Documents.
  • Evaluate and analyze contractor and subcontractor bids.
  • Assist in value engineering and cost planning during design development.
  • Participate in procurement strategy and contract negotiation.

2. Post-Contract Stage

  • Manage and monitor project costs, cash flow, and budget control throughout the construction phase.
  • Prepare and review interim payment applications, progress valuations, and certificates.
  • Evaluate and process variations, claims, and change orders.
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and validate work done.
  • Prepare monthly cost reports and financial forecasts for management.
  • Negotiate and agree final accounts with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure contract compliance and resolve commercial disputes where necessary.

3. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records, drawings, correspondence, and contractual documents.
  • Prepare project status and financial reports for management review.
  • Support audit and compliance requirements related to cost and procurement.

4. Coordination & Communication

  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients.
  • Provide advice on contractual matters and cost implications of design or site decisions.
  • Support team meetings and contribute to overall project strategy and risk management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
