Work you'll do

• Collect timesheet data and payroll information from different sources such as HR and Admin.
• Data entry into payroll and administrative databases and software programs.
• Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions, commissions, etc.
• Prepare and processing bank text files for crediting of salaries.
• Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
• Generate PaySlips from the system.
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries to resolve concerns.
• Perform account balance and payroll reconciliations.
• Prepare of Journal Entries (JV) for accounting and auditing purposes.
• Prepare periodic payroll reports for review by management.
• Collect data from HR pertaining to salaries of new hires and calculate tax implications on the bonuses.
• Check clearance of resigned employees to determine final pay computation.
• Analyze and provide breakdown of deductions or additions to salaries
• Calculate net take home pay of coop members who want to avail of loans.
• Annualize gross compensation income and income tax due of all employees
• Prepare and distribute Form 2316
• Prepare Alphalist of Employees

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of payroll processing and management in a similar setting/industry.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine's employment laws and regulations.
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to translate business needs into HR solutions.
• High level of maturity, adaptability, and accountability.
