JOB DESCRIPTION

HR Specialist is responsible for supporting and executing key human resource functions across employee relations, policy and compliance, training and development, and compensation and benefits. The role ensures alignment with labor laws, organizational standards, and company values, while fostering a positive work culture and supporting both office-based and field employees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

  • Address grievances, complaints, and workplace issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Promote positive work culture and serve as liaison between staff and leadership.
  • Draft, update, and implement HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance processes.
  • Ensure full compliance with labor laws, DOLE regulations, HSE standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Organize training sessions, workshops, and development programs to support employee growth.
  • Track performance management processes and recommend improvement strategies.
  • Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Support in designing and maintaining competitive compensation and rewards programs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (operations, safety, finance) to address HR needs.
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity in all HR processes and employee data management.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or Behavioral Science.
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally in energy, construction, mining, or industrial sectors.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and policy development.
  • Hands-on exposure to payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HRIS systems.
  • Strong understanding of labor law compliance, site-based HR operations, and DOLE standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, payroll software, and HRIS platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and resolve conflicts.
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing diverse employee groups.

Work Setup: 100% onsite (7am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday)
