Philippines Elder Care Homecare Full time ₱50,000 - ₱58,000 per year

Elder Care Homecare is seeking a Payroll Specialist. We are a private pay homecare agency located in New York, with additional expansion planned within the next year. This is a remote role and reports to our Assistant Controller based in New York.

As Payroll Specialist at Elder Care, you will be responsible for managing payroll inquiries from our team, overseeing benefits, sick time and time off requests, and providing support to the Finance and LTC team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with customer service in the healthcare field and be very detail oriented. Responsibilities

  • Gather information on hours worked for each employee
  • Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc.
  • Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed
  • Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system
  • Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper
  • Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
  • Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
  • Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Business, Accounting, or related field
  • US payroll expertise, including third-party support
  • Strong grasp of payroll laws and regulations
  • Customer service experience in payroll
  • Proficient in MS Office & Google Workspace
  • Discreet with confidential data
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Available to work EST hours

  • Monday to Friday
