Our client, a leading player in the construction industry, is seeking a Project Site/Field Engineer to join their structural works team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that critical site activities — rebar, formworks, and concreting — are executed to exacting standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively between site operations and project leadership. This position offers a platform to contribute directly to the successful delivery of high-value projects while advancing one's professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and implement approved drawings, specifications, and construction methods.
  • Plan, monitor, and control daily and weekly field activities.
  • Conduct inspections of rebar installation, formworks, and concreting works to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and batching plants for the timely delivery of materials.
  • Prepare inspection requests, site reports, and progress documentation.
  • Provide engineering support to supervisors and project management, including issue resolution and quality control.
  • Ensure all site activities adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Licensed Civil Engineer preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Sound knowledge of structural works (rebar, formworks, concreting).
  • Proficient in construction documentation and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to professional excellence and high standards of workmanship.
