Field Engineer

We are looking for a field engineer to inspect infrastructure and conduct site research to solve problems quickly.

For this job, you need an engineering degree and familiarity with the technical aspects of machines, equipment, and technology used in different field projects. You should also be an excellent problem-solver and able to manage crises when they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site & Manpower Management: Supervise and allocate tasks to the site workforce, ensuring efficient resource utilization and adherence to project timelines. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for the timely delivery of materials and services.
2. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs, incident reports, and progress updates. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to the Project Manager, highlighting challenges, progress, and solutions.
3. Scheduling & Site Coordination: Manage project schedules, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and that delays are addressed promptly. Coordinate with the Project Manager to align activities with overall project milestones and deadlines.
4. Site Assessment/Surveys: Conduct regular site assessments to monitor progress and identify potential issues, ensuring all activities comply with project specifications and regulatory standards.
5. Technical Support: Provide technical guidance to the site team, troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
6. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and motivate the site team, conducting regular meetings to review progress and address concerns. Identify training needs and provide development opportunities to enhance team performance.
7. Quality & Safety Management: Implement quality assurance/control measures and ensure safety protocols are followed. Conduct regular safety training and audits, ensuring compliance with regulations.
8. Procurement & Materials Management: Manage material requests and maintain schedules to ensure timely procurement. Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any supply-related issues and monitor material usage to prevent shortages.
9. Project Management: Support the implementation of the project execution plan, monitor progress, and conduct regular project reviews and audits. Ensure project documentation is accurate and accessible.
10. Client & Stakeholder Management: Communicate regularly with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction. Foster positive relationships with stakeholders and ensure all parties are well-informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
11. Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination: Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality standards and timelines are met. Resolve any subcontractor-related issues promptly.
12. Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project performance. Promote innovative solutions for more efficient project management.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a Registered and Licensed Engineer with at least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in construction and civil engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Flexibility and readiness to be assigned to various construction sites across Metro Manila and neighboring provinces within the NCR vicinity.
