The Project Site Engineer of Victor Consunji Development Corporation is in charge of the following: Reviewing plans and blueprints prepared by other team members before submitting them to the supervising engineer for final approval. To oversee the progress of project parts, including visiting the site to measure or resolve contractor delays on behalf of the senior civil engineer. Also, they act as a liaison between the engineering team and construction workers. They also work closely with the project in charge to develop schedules and deliverable timelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise of day to day operations of the site work.
  • Responsible for day-to-day site work;
  • Follow up with site engineers of the Contractor and/or subcontractor to ensure that work is being carried out as per design drawings, specifications & meeting planned dates in the schedule;
  • Interact with the Project Manager for clarification on the design;
  • Daily reporting about progress, non-compliance, and delay in work to the Project Manager;
  • Ensure that Communication regarding any changes in the plan has reached the engineers/Contractors and/or subcontractor's Representatives;
  • Conducting regular job site inspections;
  • Actively monitor the work environment for hazards;
  • Assist in the quality and safety audit;
  • Identify and highlight possible risks on the project.
  • Assist in necessary project documentation;
  • Accurately inventorying the job site and ensuring that the supplies are properly maintained
  • Support in finalization of Billing Breakups, Bill Certification, etc..
  • Coordination for the verification of extra claims raised by the contractor

Health, Safety & Environment:

  • Monitor evaluate and ensure that all work is being carried out safely
  • Implement technical and safety requirements for the project;
  • Ensure the main contractor's HSE plan is implemented and report all non-conformance to the HSE manager.

Quality Assurance:

  • Attend and review all benchmarking meetings;
  • Ensure construction QA/QC processes are being implemented by the contractor & sub-contractors;
  • Report any non-conforming work;
  • Identify and report technical queries to field engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in BS Civil Engineering or any equivalent
  • With at least 2-5 years of related work experience.
  • Handling residential projects is an advantage.
  • Computer literate (MS Windows Applications); With above average intellectual ability; Can communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; With good interpersonal relation skills.
  • Keen to detail: Analyze and review engineering data to ensure compliance with original plans and design.
  • Time management skills
  • Analytic and logical to details and decision making: Determining all aspects in reviewing plans and synthesizing all ideas and factors from the project manager's or site engineers' instruction.
  • Willing to start ASAP and work at Quezon City.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Saturday 7:30am to 5:00pm
