We are seeking a highly experienced Database Administrator with at least 10 years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing MySQL and Oracle databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring database reliability, performance, security, and availability while supporting mission-critical systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, configure, and maintain MySQL and Oracle database environments.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, capacity, and reliability.
  • Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Perform database tuning, indexing, and query optimization to improve system performance.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support database-driven applications.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for database configurations, procedures, and policies.
  • Conduct regular audits of database systems to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Provide 24/7 support for critical issues and ensure minimal downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
  • Proven expertise in MySQL and Oracle database administration, configuration, and tuning.
  • Strong understanding of database architecture, replication, clustering, and partitioning.
  • Experience with database monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of SQL scripting, stored procedures, and triggers.
  • Familiarity with cloud database environments (AWS RDS, Oracle Cloud, or Azure SQL) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Salary: ₱60,000 (Max.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php60,000.00 per month
