Summary Job Description:

The F&B Kitchen Manager role requires a kitchen expert who can lead a team, manage finances, train staff, and ensure smooth, safe operations. They must possess a deep understanding of culinary techniques, equipment, and food safety, while also being adept at menu development and inventory management. As a leader, they recruit, schedule, delegate, motivate, manage conflict, and evaluate performance. Financially, they budget, control costs, negotiate with suppliers, and analyze reports. They also develop and conduct training programs, ensuring consistency in standards and procedures. Ultimately, they optimize kitchen workflow, maintain equipment, enforce safety regulations, solve problems, and maintain cleanliness, requiring a blend of culinary skills, management expertise, financial acumen, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualification:

A Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field. This provides a solid foundation in food preparation, kitchen management, and business principles.

An Associate's degree in Culinary Arts or a related field, combined with extensive (10+ years) experience in progressively responsible kitchen management roles.

A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Hospitality Management could be beneficial, especially for a larger organization or a more strategic role.

Ability to create and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, budget variance reports, and cost analysis reports.

Ability to track and report on key operational metrics, such as food costs, labor costs, guest satisfaction scores, and kitchen efficiency.

Ability to evaluate the performance of kitchen staff and identify areas for improvement.

Ability to prepare and submit reports related to food safety, health codes, and other regulatory requirements.

Ability to present reports and findings to management in a clear and concise manner.

Ability to use data to identify trends, solve problems, and make informed decisions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php70, Php80,000.00 per month
