The Head of Operations will be responsible for the overall strategic and day-to-day operational management of the hotel group. The ideal candidate must bring deep operational knowledge with a proven track record of turning around underperforming hotel businesses. This position will play a critical role in rebuilding systems, laying foundational operations groundwork, and ensuring profitability and growth for a multi-property operation in a family business setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership

o Directly oversee all hotel operations across the 9 properties, ensuring alignment with company standards, guest satisfaction, and profitability.

o Conduct regular site visits and audits to assess operational efficiency, service quality, and brand compliance.

o Implement SOPs, operational KPIs, and quality control systems across properties.

  • Turnaround Strategy & Financial Performance

o Lead the financial recovery of struggling properties through cost control, revenue optimization, and operational restructuring.

o Work closely with the finance team to monitor budgets, forecast performance, and improve EBITDA across the group.

o Identify underutilized assets or resources and create plans for maximized return.

  • Pre-Opening & Expansion Projects

o Lead pre-opening activities for properties currently not operational, including team recruitment, supplier engagement, procurement, systems setup, and licensing.

o Develop and execute project timelines for phased re-openings of hotel amenities, hotel properties, and the like.

  • Groundwork & System Development

o Establish or revamp core operating systems, back-of-house procedures, vendor management protocols, and reporting structures.

o Build and mentor cross-functional teams with a focus on operational excellence, accountability, and training.

  • Stakeholder Management

o Collaborate closely with family owners and senior leadership, offering clear reporting, transparency, and alignment with long-term goals.

o Navigate family business dynamics with professionalism, discretion, and strategic insight.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in hotel operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or cluster operations role.
  • Demonstrated success in hotel turnaround and financial recovery strategies, ideally within a family-run or entrepreneurial setup.
  • Proven experience with pre-opening hotels, including involvement in planning, budgeting, staffing, and operational launch.
  • Strong foundation in F&B, Rooms, Engineering, and Housekeeping operations—must be hands-on and comfortable managing at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Excellent financial acumen; experience with budgeting, P&L management, and revenue optimization.
  • Outstanding people leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across properties in the Philippines.
  • Hospitality Management degree or related field preferred; international exposure a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php190, Php200,000.00 per month
