Job Summary

The HR Recruitment & Training Specialist is responsible for ensuring that Edna's Cakeland hires the right people at the right time and equips them with the skills needed to uphold our quality standards. This role manages end-to-end recruitment for store and commissary positions while assisting in the development and implementation of onboarding and training programs across branches.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Staffing Manage full-cycle recruitment for store crew, production staff, bakers, logistics, and other support roles

Source candidates using Facebook, referrals, walk-ins, job fairs, and community networks Screen, interview, and evaluate applicants based on job fit, attitude, and reliability

Conduct pre-employment requirements checking, job offers, and onboarding assistance Maintain updated applicant records, hiring trackers, and recruitment reports

Coordinate manpower needs with Store Supervisors and HR Manager Support rapid hiring during peak seasons and new store openings

Training & Development Facilitate onboarding sessions and company orientation for new hires

Assist in developing and delivering training modules for frontline staff, including store operations standards, customer service, and work discipline Support supervisors in identifying performance gaps and training needs

Maintain training attendance logs, evaluation forms, and learning progress reports Follow up on newly trained employees to support performance and retention

HR Support

Ensure compliance with Labor Laws and company policies in hiring and deployment

Assist in employee engagement programs and HR communications

Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling staff information
