Job Qualifications:

  • Should have at least 5 years systems analyst experience (THIS IS A MUST).
  • Should have at least 2-3 years financial/banking industry (Advantage).
  • Team Management - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of test engineers and testers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement test plans and test strategies based on project requirements.
  • Define and document test scope, objectives, and criteria for success.
  • Create detailed test schedules and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to team members.
  • Ensure team members are adequately trained and have the necessary tools and resources.
  • Test Execution and Reporting.
  • Oversee the execution of various types of tests, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Monitor test progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify and track defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Process Improvement - Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Implement best practices and industry standards for effective testing.
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
  • Facilitate communication between testing teams and other departments.
  • Manage expectations and negotiate priorities as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all software releases meet quality standards before deployment.
  • Perform risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating potential issues. - Participate in the review of project requirements and design documents to ensure testability.
