JOB SUMMARY:
An Event Coordinator prepares, organizes, and manages all parts of an event to ensure that it meets company's objectives and runs well, including budget management, venue and vendor selection, logistical coordination, on-site operations, and post-event assessments.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree related to BS Psychology or Marketing or equivalent.
At least 2 (two) years of working experience in the related field of position.
Good written and oral communication skills, proficient in MS Excel/Google Sheets and attentive to details.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Event Planning and Strategy: Create, organize, and execute a variety of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, festivals, and social gatherings.
Client Communication: Meet with customers to discuss their vision, objectives, goals, and event budget.
Budget Management: Create and monitor event budgets, ensuring that all expenditures are within the budgeted amount and identifying cost-effective alternatives.
Vendor and Venue Management: Find, book, and coordinate with venues, caterers, entertainers, and other service providers.
Logistics and Operations: Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown, including personnel coordination, transportation, and other practical issues.
