Recruitment Assistant

What are the Key Responsibilities?
Recruitment Planning
- Coordinate with department heads to determine staffing needs and job requirements.
- Assist in preparing and updating job descriptions and job specifications.
Sourcing & Advertising
- Post job vacancies on various recruitment channels (job portals, social media, career fairs, etc.).
- Build and maintain a pool of qualified candidates through proactive sourcing strategies.
- Establish relationships with universities, agencies, and other recruitment partners.
Screening & Selection
- Review applications, shortlist qualified candidates, and schedule interviews.
- Conduct initial interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.
- Coordinate and assist in final interviews with hiring managers.
Onboarding
- Prepare job offers, employment contracts, and pre-employment requirements.
- Facilitate orientation and onboarding sessions for new hires.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain and update recruitment databases, applicant tracking systems, and employee files.
- Prepare recruitment metrics and reports for management review.
Employer Branding
- Support initiatives to promote the company as an employer of choice.
- Represent the organization at job fairs and recruitment events.
Other Duties
- Assist with other HR-related tasks as assigned by the HR Manager.
What are the Skills Qualifications?
- Graduate of Psychology, Human Resource Management, or any relevant course
- The ability to conduct different types of interviews.
- Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role for at least 2-3 years.
- Solid background in hiring rank and file to managerial positions.
- Experience with recruitment processes and databases.
- The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies.
- Good decision-making skills
