The ideal candidate is a well-connected business development professional with a proven track record of building new business lines, establishing supplier relationships, and closing high-value deals in the Philippine manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development:

  • Conduct market research to identify and evaluate opportunities in the medical devices and food & beverage manufacturing sectors.
  • Map industry players, decision-makers, and key influencers.

Supplier & Product Sourcing:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and principals aligned with company's quality and reliability standards.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements, pricing, and exclusivity arrangements.

Business Acquisition:

  • Generate qualified leads, pitch company's offerings, and convert prospects into new accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with procurement, engineering, and production decision-makers.

Sales & Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the new segment.
  • Deliver on quarterly and annual sales targets.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work with the operations, technical, and marketing teams to ensure smooth onboarding and support of new clients.
  • Provide market feedback to guide product development and sourcing.

Brand Representation:

  • Represent company at trade shows, conferences, and client meetings as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 3-4 years in business development, account management, or sales in industrial chemicals, manufacturing supplies, or related fields.
  • Strong network and proven track record in medical devices and/or food & beverage manufacturing sectors in the Philippines.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong market research and strategic planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in lead generation and consultative selling.
  • Willingness to travel locally for client and supplier visits.

Location: Taguig City, Philippines (In-office with field visits)

Reports to: Managing Director

Compensation: Competitive salary + commission
