
Business Development Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to join our Global Business Development team. Reporting to the Global VP for Client Services, this role is key to driving growth in the corporate pantry management and F&B distribution industry.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships with multinational clients, and closing deals across APAC and beyond. Strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and fluency in English are essential.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the client base across APAC and beyond.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate pantry management and workplace F&B distribution space.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at multinational corporations.
- Conduct client presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions to close deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, client services, finance) to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
- Track and report on business development performance metrics, sales pipelines, and market opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging workplace food & beverage solutions to position the company effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
- Proven track record in sales, business development, or client management, ideally in hospitality, F&B distribution, or workplace services.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills with a hunter mindset.
- Excellent communication skills (fluent in English, both written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative, drive, and resilience.
- Flexible and adaptable to different client needs, time zones, and cultural settings.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets as agreed with the Global VP for Client Services.
- Secure a minimum number of new client accounts per quarter.
- Deliver consistent pipeline growth with accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Maintain an above-average conversion rate from lead to closed deal.
- Ensure client satisfaction during onboarding and smooth transition to the operations team.
- Commission incentives for closing high-level deals.
