About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join @Specialist' as a full-time Collection Specialist based in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a key member of our Client Services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our company's strong financial position by effectively managing and resolving outstanding client accounts.

What you'll be doing

  1. Proactively follow up with clients to collect outstanding payments and resolve any billing disputes
  2. Communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner to understand their circumstances and negotiate payment plans where appropriate
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and account statuses
  4. Work closely with the Finance team to ensure timely escalation of overdue accounts and adherence to the company's credit control policies
  5. Identify opportunities to improve collection processes and provide recommendations to management
  6. Contribute to the overall success of the Client Services team by supporting your colleagues and sharing best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a collection or credit control role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
  2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle sensitive client discussions tactfully
  3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and data
  4. Proficient in using relevant software and systems to track and manage client accounts
  5. A team player with a positive, resilient and customer-focused attitude
  6. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to resolve complex issues
