Job Title: General Virtual Assistant – Bookkeeping, Social Media & Appointment Setting
Overview: We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable General Virtual Assistant to support our business operations, with a primary focus on bookkeeping, social media management, and appointment setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Invoicing
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients.
- Follow up and chase outstanding payments in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with accountants or financial teams as needed.
Social Media Management
- Reach out to clients for online reviews and testimonials.
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Respond to comments and messages to boost community engagement.
- Assist in creating brand-consistent visuals and captions using AI tools or design software (e.g., Canva).
Inbound Appointment Setting
- Monitor incoming inquiries via email, social media, or lead capture forms.
- Pre-qualify leads based on defined criteria.
- Contact and coordinate with qualified leads to schedule appointments with the appropriate team members.
- Maintain records of leads and interactions in CRM tools or spreadsheets.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role involving bookkeeping, social media, and/or appointment setting.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content tools (e.g., Canva, Buffer, Meta Business Suite).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage tasks without constant supervision.
- Experience with Australian clients or businesses is highly preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
