JOB OPPORTUNITY: HR EMPLOYEE RELATIONS OFFICER

Location: Cebu City

Employment Type: Full-time

We are looking for a highly skilled and emotionally mature HR Employee Relations Officer who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle complex workplace concerns with professionalism, fairness, and discretion. This role demands excellent communication skills and resourcefulness in fostering a positive work environment while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Core Functions:

  • Manage employee relations concerns, from conflict resolution to grievance handling, ensuring timely and fair resolutions.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee issues, maintaining confidentiality and trust.
  • Monitor workplace climate and recommend initiatives that promote employee engagement and morale.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, code of conduct, and labor regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation on employee relations cases, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
  • Provide guidance to supervisors and managers on proper disciplinary procedures and labor law compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years solid experience in employee relations or labor relations.
  • Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Resourceful and self-motivated, able to manage multiple cases at once.
